@deborah-madden-35735913: Sitting in meetings doesn't create impact but what happens afterwards can. And today’s Training Provider Network Leadership Group was very much about the afterwards. We talked about how we create more value through the network, for providers and employers and how we can be better at sharing what works, and turning the collective knowledge of training providers into something practical. One of the things to come out of today is a plan to develop a series of webinars alongside a resource portal for training providers, giving them access to good practice, insight and resources that can help strengthen their offer. This isn't about creating something for training providers for the sake of it - Better support for providers should mean better training. Better training should mean better outcomes for employers and, ultimately, a more skilled and competent construction workforce. That’s the impact we need to keep focused on. There’s a huge amount of knowledge and experience across our provider network. Our job is to connect it, share it and turn it into something useful for those providers and employers who engage with it. Less reinventing the wheel. More learning from each other. And more focus on what actually makes a difference. Thanks to everyone around the table today for the challenge, ideas and determination to make this happen. @victoriacurley: 📢 Maternity Cover Opportunity - Data Compliance Officer After more than 15 years working in the apprenticeship sector, I'm about to start my biggest adventure yet... becoming a mum! 💚 As I prepare to head off on maternity leave at Christmas, we're looking for someone to join the Apprenticeship Team at Specsavers as a Data Compliance Officer. I genuinely love this role. It gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for apprenticeships with data, compliance, problem-solving and continuous improvement, while working with fantastic colleagues across the business to help ensure our apprenticeship programmes are compliant, audit-ready and deliver the best possible experience for learners. No two days are the same. From ILR data and funding compliance to audit preparation, reporting and stakeholder engagement, it's a role where you can make a real impact and see the difference your work makes. If you've built your career in apprenticeships, further education or training provider environment and have experience with ILR data specifications, apprenticeship funding rules and compliance requirements, I'd highly encourage you to take a look. It's a rewarding role, a great team and an opportunity to play a key part in the success of our apprenticeship programmes. Leaving my role, even temporarily, will be bittersweet. I've learned so much, developed tremendously and had the pleasure of working with some amazing people. However, I know there's someone out there who will enjoy it just as much as I have. If this sounds like you, or you know someone who might be interested, please take a look at the vacancy, share this post, or get in touch. 💚 Good luck to everyone who applies! #Apprenticeships #DataCompliance #FurtherEducation #ILR #Compliance #MaternityCover #LearningAndDevelopment #lifeatspecsavers
